Description

The Tensioner Technician I will maintain the basic daily operation of the primary tensioner machine(s). This position will ensure the machine produces quality parts while meeting the desired productivity rate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain tensioner machining equipment, including tooling adjustment, presetting, and preventive maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot basic machine issues.
  • Maintain the quality of the parts produced.
  • Inspect parts to meet quality standards.
  • Read and interpret small quality testing equipment such as calipers, mics, microscopes, etc.
  • Read and interpret part prints.
  • Operate one line at a time.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Zero to two years of related experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Experience with 5S methodology.
  • Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a team.
  • Ability to operate up to four lines.
  • Excellent planning, organizational skills, and extreme attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work weekends as needed with 24-hour notice.
