Kelly Services in Houston, TX is hiring a Production Operator I to support daily manufacturing and powder coating plant tasks. You will operate machinery, monitor processes, and follow safety and quality standards in an on-site environment.

First shift, hourly pay of $17, temp-perm with opportunities for conversion. Must pass respirator fit test for safety in powder coating areas and lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Medical, dental, vision and other benefits are available.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Operator I to join our manufacturing and powder coating plant operations in Houston, TX. In this role, you will support daily production tasks, operate machinery, and adhere to strict safety and quality standards in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform entry-level (Level 1) production, assembly, and powder coating operations.


• Monitor processing equipment and material handling in a powder coating and mining production environment.


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with plant safety guidelines.


• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for product mixing, loading, and finishing.


• Complete required safety checks and equipment inspections daily.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.


• Must be able to pass a respirator fit test as required for safety protocols in powder coating areas.


• Prior experience in manufacturing, industrial production, or powder coating is a plus.


• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to workplace safety.
