Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Production Worker in Murphy, NC. The role involves assembling electromechanical products, following detailed instructions, and performing repetitive tasks on the shop floor.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work OT including Saturdays. Onsite in Murphy, this position offers hourly pay between $16.00 and $20.00, plus benefits and career development opportunities in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, or ability to understand and follow English instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Ability to lift 20–40 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electromechanical products using documentation and tooling (rotor/stator sub-assembly, motor assembly).
• Operate stripping tools to remove insulation from lead wires.
• Install lead wire pin connectors and apply varnish or potting compounds as needed.
• Assemble and test final motor/drive to specification.
• Cross-train across operations and handle long periods of sitting/standing; climb, stoop, kneel or crawl.
• Work overtime as needed, including Saturdays.
