Job summary

Moog in Murphy, NC is hiring a Production Operator to assemble electromechanical products and operate automated equipment on site. Requires reading and following English instructions, mechanical aptitude, and ability to lift 20–40 lbs; soldering experience preferred or willingness to certify.

May require overtime, including Saturdays. Salary ranges from $16.00 to $20.00 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive, safety‑driven culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred or demonstrated ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Soldering experience or willingness to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electromechanical products using required documentation and tooling.
• Operate stripping tools, connect leads, and assemble sub-assemblies.
• Apply varnish and potting compounds as specified.
• Operate molds, attach heat sinks, and complete final motor assembly and testing.
• Prepare and package final motor/drive assembly and maintain equipment.
