Job summary

Henrob Corporation in New Hudson, MI is seeking a hands-on Forging Operator to produce high-quality self-piercing rivets (SPR). You will set up and run a 6-station cold heading machine, verify settings, and follow work instructions to ensure optimum results.

You will report to the Production Supervisor or Team Lead, work safely, maintain cleanliness, and troubleshoot quality issues. The role requires good manual skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read part prints and tooling prints.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Safety and quality come first.
• Hands-on with hand tools; strong mechanical aptitude.
• Read part and tooling prints; basic math and measurement.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate cold header machines to manufacture SPR rivets.
• Follow work instructions and procedures; maintain quality.
• Understand and operate machine controls; read prints.
• Change tooling and weld coils as required; troubleshoot quality issues.
• Maintain 5-S, keep area clean, and meet production targets.
