Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Production Operator in Peoria, AZ. You will operate and monitor production equipment in a clean, food-grade environment to maintain quality and ensure on-time delivery.

You will perform quality inspections, assist with packaging and labeling, and use RF scanners and camera inspection systems to maintain traceability and safety. This contract-to-hire role offers steady work in a safety-focused plant.

Qualifications

• Experience in production/manufacturing or similar environments.
• Ability to stand for a full shift and lift and stack boxes up to 2530 pounds.
• Willingness to work in a clean, regulated food-grade facility.
• Mechanical knowledge to support minor machine resets and checks.
• Ability to read and write English to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machines for consistent output.
• Perform visual quality inspections on caps and finished products.
• Package and label caps, prepare boxes and pallets.
• Use RF scanner to track materials and inventory.
• Monitor automated inspection systems for defects.
• Maintain supply of caps and labels on labeling lines.
• Start/stop presses and labeling equipment safely.
• Assist with minor machine resets and adjustments.
• Clean presses, finishing lines, and related equipment.
• Keep area clean and compliant with safety guidelines.
• Wrap pallets with plastic to secure goods.
• Ensure proper functioning via inspections.
• Follow safety guidelines in a regulated, food-grade environment.
• Lift and stack boxes up to 2530 pounds and stand for full shift.
