Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as a Production Operator preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Strong command of English.
• Ability to operate automated casing equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude to sequence start-up and shutdown.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long shifts.
• Forklift operation skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform production activities for equipment set up, clean-ups, packaging filling and labeling, maintenance, and other operational duties.
• Adhere to GMP guidelines and keep areas clean and sanitized.
• Visually inspect incoming materials and report non-conformances; inspect finished goods.
• Follow quality system procedures and work instructions.
• Run multiple machines and perform line inspections; complete required documentation.
• Operate packaging equipment and provide relief for other operators as needed.
• Comply with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
• Monitor computer terminals and OIT screens.
