Job summary

Commercial Metals Company is seeking candidates to support outdoor fabrication and loading operations. You will learn equipment operation, assist with loading/unloading, and maintain a safe, clean work area. Training is provided across rebar fabrication equipment and related processes.

Ideal applicants demonstrate a strong work ethic, teamwork, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions while following safety policies. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and operational reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions (heat/cold).
• Willing and able to cross-train as required.
• Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and safe working habits.
• Work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Attend training on applicable equipment.
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition.
• Operate production machines per established procedures and guidelines.
• Participate in CMC Safety Programs and uphold the Safety Culture.
• Operate rebar fabrication equipment (shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, welders, etc.).
