Job summary

Barlean's is seeking a Production Operator for its Ferndale, WA facility to operate encapsulation equipment and support a steady production schedule. The role involves setup, cleaning, troubleshooting, and changeovers, with a focus on maintaining product quality and GMP compliance.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and prior machine operator experience. This onsite position requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work a 12.5-hour day

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to speak, understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with production staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain encapsulation equipment for production runs.
• Set up, clean, troubleshoot, and perform material changeovers.
• Sort capsules and monitor drying equipment for quality.
• Prepare finished product for storage or transfer.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow GMP, GDP, and SQF protocols.
