Job summary

Kelly Services in Farmington, CT is hiring a Production Operator to join a premier manufacturing client. You will set up, equip, operate, and program machines—primarily in the drill press area—and assist with fabrication processes, ensuring safety and quality at every step.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with a pay rate of $18.00–$19.00 per hour and weekly pay. Entry-level candidates are welcome, and you’ll develop hands-on skills in sheet metal fabrication and smart

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn; entry-level candidates welcome.
• Comfortable using power tools in a fast-paced production environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
• Reliable, punctual and eager to contribute to a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up, equip, operate, and program machines—primarily in the drill press area.
• Assist with fabrication processes as needed to meet production goals.
• Determine production sequence and provide data feedback in the system.
• Manage tools and maintain manufacturing equipment.
• Clean, deburr parts, and prepare/perform painting; inspect workpieces and document results per drawings.

What’s a typical day as a Production Operator? You’ll be:

• Setting up, equipping, operating, and programming machines—primarily in the drill press area
• Assisting with various fabrication processes as needed
• Determining production sequence and providing data feedback in the system
• Managing tools and maintaining manufacturing equipment
• Cleaning, deburring parts, and preparing/performing painting
• Inspecting workpieces and documenting inspection results according to drawings and standards
