We are a medium-sized company with 1,600 employees at six locations worldwide. As a system supplier and partner to leading vehicle manufacturers, we develop individual door systems for rail and road vehicles.

For our North America location, we are looking for a Production Operator- Assembler

Summary: Operating production equipment in a quality and proficient manner.

Your Tasks:

  • Operate power tools, hand tools, machinery and computers.
  • Perform equipment change-overs.
  • Responsible for quality control.
  • Complete daily production paperwork.
  • Operate within standard operating procedures.
  • Perform equipment and tooling Preventative Maintenance as required.
  • Clean and maintain work area.
  • Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Your strengths

Qualification and Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to use tape measure, calipers, etc.
  • Must be able to read blueprints.
  • Mechanical aptitude/ability, i.e.: cutting rubber/aluminum, drilling and tapping, etc.
  • Fundamental knowledge of adhesive and fasteners.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background screening
  • Must be able to lift 50 to 100 pounds.
  • Use of safety equipment including but not limited to, eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, safety boots or shoes. Loose-fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
