Are you looking to work in a climate-controlled facility? Do you hate steel toes? Then look no further! Openwork is seeking Textile Machine Operators for a textile company in Enoree, South Carolina.

Openwork is hiring 2nd and 3rd shift machine operators. These are temp-to-hire positions for the ideal candidates. Must be willing to tour and interview before starting and train on 1st shift. Starting pay ranges from $14-15.50/hr depending on the department, plus a $0.75 weekly attendance incentive. Climate-controlled environment. No steel toes required.

This role involves all tasks related to the production of the company’s products, including weaving, warping, winding, coating, cutting, sewing, baling, carding, drawing, and packing. The position follows standard work methods and emphasizes safe work habits to ensure efficient and safe production.

Textile Machine Operators:

• Pay Rate: $14-15.50 depending on the department with a $0.75 weekly perfect attendance incentive.
• Hours: 2nd shift 3:00pm-11:00pm, 3rd shift 11:00pm-7:00am or 12:00am-8:00am, depending on the department.
• Must be able to train on 1st shift, which may be 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm depending on the department.

Requirements:

• Stable work history.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Good attendance record.
• Some machinery experience is helpful but not required.
• Ear plugs are required while working.
• Reliable transportation.

Job Functions:

• Set up and operate textile machines.
• Feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring tools.
• Test machine operation periodically.
• Address issues that occur during shifts.
• Check output for machine-related mistakes or flaws.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to talk and hear.
• Frequently stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms.
• Position involves sitting, walking, and lifting throughout the day.

Summary:

• This is a full-time position with hours Monday-Friday (1st & 2nd shifts) and Sunday-Thursday (3rd shift).
