Robert Bosch Tool Corporation, a leader in power tools and accessories, is seeking a Cut and Pack Operator at our Lincolnnton, NC facility. This role involves operating automated systems for cutting and packaging sandpaper sheets, managing changeovers, loading materials, conducting quality checks, and ensuring smooth process flow. The operator must adhere to safety procedures and maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of proper product flow on machines (Intermediate)
• Knowledge of 5S procedures for cleanliness and organization (Intermediate)
• Ability to record downtime, machine breakdowns, and organizational failures (Senior)
• Proficiency in using HMI to select programs (Intermediate)
• Mechanical skills for changeovers using work instructions (Intermediate)
• Understanding of BPS standards and interactions (Entry)

Additional Responsibilities

• Loading materials onto machines as needed
• Operating pin lift, pallet lift, and hoist
• Setting up and starting machines, making adjustments as necessary
• Assisting troubleshooting and repairs per escalation plan
• Following SOPs and quality standards
• Maintaining machine cleanliness and tool organization
• Following all safety procedures

The system includes a motorized feeding system with clamp beams, touch screen parameters for material width, and a recipe menu for quick setup based on shape size, web width, and material type.
