Job summary

Bode North America, Inc. in Spartanburg, SC, is hiring for a Production Operator who will operate power tools, machinery and computers to sustain production quality. You will perform equipment changeovers, complete daily paperwork, and follow SOPs while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to read blueprints, and fundamental knowledge of adhesives and fasteners. Forklift operation and preventive maintenance duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for cutting, drilling, tapping tasks.
• Fundamental knowledge of adhesives and fasteners.

Responsibilities

• Operate power tools, hand tools, machinery and computers.

• Responsible for quality control.

• Operate within standard operating procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Qualification Requirements

• Must be able to use tape measure, calipers, etc.


• Must be able to read blueprints.


• Mechanical aptitude/ability, i.e.: cutting rubber/aluminum, drilling and tapping, etc.


• Fundamental knowledge of adhesive and fasteners.

Physical/Medical Requirements

• Must pass a preemployment background screening


• Must be able to lift 50 to 100 pounds.


• Use of safety equipment including but not limited to, eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, safety boots or shoes. Loosefitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
