Job summary

Activar Incorporated is seeking a Production Operator to operate molding, coating, or pad printing equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will set up jobs, review run requirements, obtain materials, and draft procedures to ensure high-quality output.

The role requires reliable teamwork, basic blueprint understanding, and strong math and safety awareness. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 60 pounds and work around equipment safely.

Description

POSITION PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for operating various equipment to mold, coat, or pad print parts within an assigned area as directed. The Production Operator accurately and efficiently completes orders to established procedures and quality standards.

Principal Accountabilities

Set-up jobs and perform molding, coating, or pad printing operations to ensure the highest quality of production is achieved.

Review daily manufacturing functions and job orders to ensure awareness of requirements.

Obtain necessary materials and tools required to achieve expected run rates.

Draft and maintain procedure sheets.

Check all parts for excellent quality.

Maintain accurate counts.

Perform trimming on parts if needed.

Assemble and package parts to customer’s specifications.

Ensure the safe operation of equipment.

Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

Report immediately to supervisor/lead/manager any and all problems, which may affect safety, equipment, tooling, and/or quality.

Maintain full working knowledge of all processes.

Ensure a clean and organized work environment.

Conduct himself/herself in a professional manner in accordance with company guidelines.

Other duties as assigned.

Required

Previous experience in a relevant manufacturing setting.

Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification.

The employee must regularly lift up to 60 pounds and move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The employee may be required to work with hazardous materials. The employee may be exposed to hot surfaces, hot air, electrical hazards, and flames. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works with moving machinery and occasionally in outside weather.

Starting hourly pay range: $20.00 - $24.00
