Summary

Under the supervision of the manufacturing Team Leader/Group Leader/Supervisor or designee, safely and effectively perform duties to meet established performance and quality goals in a time-sensitive manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform pre-shift exercise/stretching routines.
2. Adhere to safety requirements and procedures.
3. Operate necessary machinery or perform duties manually to manufacture parts according to standard operating procedures.
4. Ensure quality standards are achieved and maintained.
5. Meet or exceed production standards.
6. Follow packaging and labeling guidelines for each product.
7. Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions, including machine/equipment malfunctions, to supervision.
8. Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
9. Work within ISO14001, ISO 45001, and TS-16949 standards.
10. Cooperate with team members and management.
11. Transport materials as required.
12. Perform housekeeping duties at the end of the shift.
13. Properly use SAP system.
14. Perform other duties as assigned, including those in the operator's role description addendum.

Education / Experience:

• High school diploma or GED.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to airborne particles. The work environment is warm/humid with moderate to high noise levels. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, walk, stand for long periods, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with arms and hands. Occasionally, the employee must stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance. Bending and twisting at the waist and knees is regularly required. The employee frequently lifts, pushes, pulls, and carries up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
