Job summary

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively operates and controls equipment and instrumentation in the assigned manufacturing unit.
• Receives and processes raw materials using chemical reactions and manufacturing operations to produce finished products at the specified quality level.
• Supports and adheres to Responsible care and applicable requirements by protecting the environment and assuring the health, safety, and security of our employees, vendors, customers, suppliers, and our community.
• Performs additional work as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
• Assists in the formulation of agricultural chemicals, including fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides.
• Makes necessary adjustments to equipment
• Uses forklifts to move drums, totes, and pallets
• Meet quality standards without delaying production
• Maintains a clean and safe workplace

Position Overview

The Formulation Operator is the employee who performs manufacturing processes by handling raw materials, mixing ingredients, operating machinery, and packaging the final product.

Reporting to the department supervisor, the Production Assistant will:

• Safely and effectively operates and controls equipment and instrumentation in the assigned manufacturing unit.
• Receives and processes raw materials using chemical reactions and manufacturing operations to produce finished products at the specified quality level.
• Supports and adheres to the principles of Responsible care and applicable requirements by protecting the environment and assuring the health, safety, and security of our employees, vendors, customers, suppliers, and our community.
• Performs additional work as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
• Assists in the formulation of agricultural chemicals, including fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides.
