Job summary

Albaugh, LLC in Missouri is seeking an Assistant Formulation to support manufacturing of crop protection products. You will operate and oversee equipment, process raw materials, and help ensure product quality in a continuous operation.

This entry-level role requires a high school diploma, a safety-first mindset, and a willingness to learn. Overtime may be needed to meet production goals; lifting up to 50 lbs is supported with proper procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively operates and controls equipment and instrumentation in the assigned manufacturing unit.
• Maintains and monitors process equipment in accordance with established procedures and processes.
• Maintains and improves safety in the unit and is responsible for housekeeping in operating areas.
• Receives and processes raw materials using chemical reactions and manufacturing operations to produce finished products at the specified quality level.
• Supports and adheres to the principles of Responsible care and applicable requirements by protecting the environment and assuring the health, safety, and security of our employees, vendors, customers, suppliers, and our community.
• Performs additional work as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
• Assists in the formulation of agricultural chemicals, including fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides.
• Facilitates the chemical process, including adding reactants to raw materials and overseeing all steps of the reactions.
• Makes necessary adjustments to equipment.
• Uses forklifts to move drums, totes, and pallets.
• Meet quality standards without delaying production.
• Maintains a clean and safe workplace.

Position Overview
