Job summary

Sensient Technologies is seeking a 2nd shift packager/production operator in Wisconsin to join our team. You will package yeast powder for food, pet food, and feed applications, stack bags on pallets, and run a shrink wrap machine to prepare production lots.

You must be able to lift up to 55 lbs, stand for long periods, and work 8- or 12-hour shifts, including weekends. We offer shift premiums, OT, strong benefits, and a pension plan through Central States.

Responsibilities

• Package yeast powder used in food products, cat food, livestock feeds, and probiotics.
• Stack powder bags on pallets and operate a shrink wrapping machine.
• Take samples to ensure quality standards are met.
• Operate and monitor equipment including forklifts and bagging lines.
• Perform cleaning per company and government policies.
• Fill out run-rate, product type, and production summary paperwork.
• Follow food safety standards and good manufacturing practices.

We are looking for a 2nd shift packager/production operator to join our team to make high quality food ingredients! Pay averages $31+/hour without working OT!

What you’ll do:

• Package yeast powder which goes into food products, cat food, livestock feeds, and probiotics
• Stack powder bags on pallets and operate a shrink wrapping machine
• Take samples of product to ensure quality standards are met
• Operate and monitor equipment (forklifts and bagging equipment)
• Perform cleaning for your assigned area that complies with company and government policy
• Fill out required paperwork related to run rates, product types, and production summaries
• Follow food and safety standards/good manufacturing practices

What you’ll bring:

• Attention to detail
• Ability to work both 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, as well as weekends
• Ability to read, write, and a desire to learn about equipment/food manufacturing
• Ability to lift up to 55lbs regularly, position 100lbs, stand for extended periods of time, assemble equipment, and work safely in hot environment
