Job summary

Sensient Technologies is seeking Production Operators to support the Natural Color expansion in our Missouri plant. You will pack, clean, formulate, and move materials, operating processing equipment like blenders and dryers, and complete production documentation.

We require the ability to lift 50 lbs, work a 12-hour shift, and adhere to safety, environmental and GMP standards. Prior chemical manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work a 12-hour shift.
• Experience with chemical manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate processing equipment (blenders, mixers, mills, dryers) and follow procedures.
• Weigh and label finished products and complete production documentation.
• Perform in-process quality analysis and participate in continuous improvement.
• Clean equipment and work area per standard procedures.

We are looking for a Production Operators to join our team and play a critical role in supporting a wide range of activities for the production process; including packaging, cleaning, formulation, and material movement.

What you’ll do:

• Calculate, weigh, and charge raw materials. Operate all processing equipment including blenders, mixers, mills, dryers, etc.Follow all operating procedures written and verbal.
• Weigh and label finished products, complete all production documentation.
• Perform in-process quality analysis tests. Participate in continuous improvement programs.
• Clean equipment and work area per standardized procedures.

What you’ll bring:

• Ability to lift 50lbs multiple times per day. Ability to work a 12-hour shift.
• Flexibility to work different shifts.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment according to safety, environmental and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
• Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled. Color and dust particles may be present in the air or throughout the facility. Allergens may be present in the air.
• High School diploma or equivalent. (Prior chemical manufacturing experience preferred).
