Job summary

Sensient Technologies is seeking a 2nd shift packager/production operator in Wisconsin to join our team. You will package yeast powder for food, pet food, and feed applications, stack bags on pallets, and run a shrink wrap machine to prepare production lots.

You must be able to lift up to 55 lbs, stand for long periods, and work 8- or 12-hour shifts, including weekends. We offer shift premiums, OT, strong benefits, and a pension plan through Central States.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential for packaging and quality checks.
• Able to work 8- or 12-hour shifts, including weekends.
• Read and write, and learn equipment and food manufacturing processes.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs regularly and work in a hot environment.

Responsibilities

• Package yeast powder used in food products, cat food, livestock feeds, and probiotics.
• Stack powder bags on pallets and operate a shrink wrapping machine.
• Take samples to ensure quality standards are met.
• Operate and monitor equipment including forklifts and bagging lines.
• Perform cleaning per company and government policies.
• Fill out run-rate, product type, and production summary paperwork.
• Follow food safety standards and good manufacturing practices.
