Job Description

The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking 2nd shift Production Operators to work at our sauces processing facility in Fremont, OH. Successful candidates must be willing to contribute improvement suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal candidates must be safety and quality oriented, demonstrate adaptability, and be willing to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.

Currently hiring for second shift positions. Candidates must be willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts alternating days and nights - including weekends. Starting Pay Rate $24.53/hr., with additional shift premiums and weekly pay.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Learn the safe and proper operation of packaging filling equipment.
• Perform setup, start-up, and changeover procedures for equipment as needed.
• Assist in troubleshooting line performance issues related to equipment operation.
• Maintain downtime records during line operation.
• Conduct and document quality checks.
• Clean equipment as required.
• Monitor and communicate process or product abnormalities to supervisors or technicians.
• Perform sanitation duties for production equipment and periodic sanitation work.
• Handle chemicals properly and follow GMPs.
• Support Plant Quality Systems.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or shift leaders.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Availability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Prior manufacturing experience required.
