Job summary

Magna Seating Columbus is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to operate various machines, assemble components, and inspect parts to meet quality standards. This is a 1st shift position with overtime as scheduled, starting wage $18.58 per hour.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods working on feet performing repetitive actions that require frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching and/or lifting from the floor, waist, overhead, chest, and/or knee level; may also be required to squat, kneel, push, pull, carry, grasp with hands and fingers; use of hand tools
• Visual acuity is necessary to read instructions, manipulate parts, tools, machines and other objects.
• Hearing acuity to understand verbal instructions, respond to emergency signals.
• Prolonged exposure to moderate to high levels of noise, laser beams, flashing or blinking lights, machine signals and other sounds associated with a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the form of safety glasses and safety footwear is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
