Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc is seeking an extrusion operator at our Ohio manufacturing site. You will operate extrusion and blow-molding equipment, adjust machine settings, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure high-quality plastic containers.

You will contribute to safety, reliability, and waste-reduction efforts while expanding your skills through hands-on training and internal advancement opportunities. The role supports a long-standing, growth-oriented team environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience operating manufacturing equipment in a high-volume production environment.
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills are essential.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodation.
• Knowledge of extrusion or blow molding machines is a plus.
• Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electromechanical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion and blow-molding manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor and adjust production machine settings to ensure high-quality production.
• Troubleshoot machines and equipment; perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Check product quality to meet customer specifications (weights, dimensions).
• Collaborate with the team to drive continuous production improvements in safety, reliability, quality and waste reduction.
• Expand skills with hands-on training and manufacturing career development opportunities.
