Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc in Garland, TX is seeking a Process Technician to operate extrusion and blow-molding equipment, producing high-quality plastic containers for leading brands in a climate-controlled facility.

You will monitor equipment performance, adjust heat, water cooling, and pressures, troubleshoot issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure products meet weight and dimensional specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year experience as a Manufacturing Production Technician.
• Experience with extrusion or blow molding equipment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, team lift up to 70 lbs.
• Basic hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion and blow-molding equipment in a clean, climate-controlled environment.
• Monitor equipment performance and adjust settings (heat, water cooling, pressures) to meet quality specs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Perform quality checks on bottle weights and dimensions.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for safety and scrap reduction.
