Job summary

Plastipak Jackson Center is hiring a Production Associate to operate extrusion and blow-molding machines, adjust settings, and assist in maintaining product quality. You’ll be part of a team with structured on-the-job training and opportunities to grow within Plastipak Academy.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year operating manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with extrusion or blow molding equipment is a plus but not required.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics or electromechanical systems helpful.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion and blow-molding production machines to keep production moving.
• Adjust machine settings for heat, cooling and pressure.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Check product quality to meet customer standards.
• Work as part of a shift team to solve problems and improve processes.
• Participate in Plastipak Academy training on the job.
