Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. is seeking a manufacturing associate to operate extrusion and blow-molding equipment, adjust settings, and ensure product quality. You will work on a shift team with on-the-job training and opportunities to grow within the company.

We offer steady 12-hour shifts, every other weekend off, and double-time pay on Sundays, plus a robust benefits package and career development through Plastipak Academy.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to diagnose and fix mechanical issues on production lines.
• Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics or electromechanical systems is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion and blow-molding production machines to keep production moving.
• Adjust machine settings for heat, cooling and pressure as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Check product quality to meet standards.
• Work with a shift team to solve problems and improve processes.
• Participate in on-the-job training and Plastipak Academy courses.
