Job summary

Emseal, A Sika Company, is hiring a Production Operator to join our Westborough, MA team. You will work with hot plates to melt and weld rubber sections, creating endless transition configurations for premium sealants.

Typical hours are 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday. The role requires manual dexterity, basic math, and the ability to read rulers. Overtime may be available to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Good steady hand coordination and dexterity.
• Ability to read a ruler down to 16th inch increments.
• Demonstrated understanding of angles and basic arithmetic.
• Numbers aptitude for whole numbers and fractions.
• Ability to operate a fork truck or be trained to do so.
• Lift 30-50 pounds occasionally.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
• Safety-conscious; follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate hot plates to melt rubber sections then weld to form transitions.
• Work with precision to create a variety of joint configurations.
• Maintain safety standards and quality during production.
• Follow shift schedule from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday–Friday.

Job Description

Emseal, A Sika Company, is a manufacturer of premium sealants and expansion joint systems for the commercial construction industry and many specialty market applications.

Emseal is looking to hire a Production Operatorto join our team in Westborough, MA. This position will be responsible for working with hot plates to melt and subsequently weld rubber sections together to form an infinite variety of transitions. Work hours are typically 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

• Numbers aptitude and the ability to add and subtract whole numbers and fractions.

• Must speak and understand the English language.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
