Sika is seeking a Production Worker to join our Brighton, CO team, operating state-of-the-art mixers and related equipment. You will follow process orders, record batch information, and ensure timely, quality production. Forklift operation and adherence to safety protocols are required.

Work shifts include 6:00am-2:30pm MST, 2:00pm-10:30pm MST, and 10:00pm-6:30am MST. A High School diploma or GED, and prior manufacturing and forklift experience are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• 1 year of forklift experience preferred.
• Must have experience in confined space entry.
• Able to lift 65 pounds throughout the shift; sometimes up to 80–90 pounds and push/pull 100–150 pounds.
• Must be able to wear required PPE including air purifying respirators.

Job Description

Sika is looking for an experienced Production Worker to join its growing team in Brighton, CO.

This position has the knowledge and demonstrates ability to operate state of the art mixers, pumping equipment, hi-speed mixers, and tinting equipment in the production area. Follow process orders from beginning to end and record all pertinent information. Individual will add materials at specified quantities and times, observe temperatures and or mixtures and chemical reactions, record necessary batch information, and take, conduct and record samples at designated times to ensure timely, consistent, quality batches. Mixer will operate forklift and other material handling equipment. Participate in confined space entry pot cleaning activities, which include use of body harness and extraction system. Mixing position will participate in determining and implementing corrective actions. This position may also be assigned tasks in other functional areas as required to help support overall success of the facility.

Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines to position.
• Clean and prepare workstation and machines.
• Assemble and test components and ensure adherence to specified requirements, soldering experience is an asset.
• Perform simple electrical and continuity testing of electronic components, parts, and systems.
• Identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies.
• Check final assembly for finish, labelling, and packaging methods.
• Production reporting.
• Complete other tasks as required and/or directed.
• Maintain compliance with established policies and procedures and related labor laws.
• Will lift 65 pounds throughout the shift. Maximum lifting requirements are 80 - 90 pounds and must be able to push/pull up to 100 - 150 pounds.
• Must be able to wear all required PPE including air purified respirators.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• 1 year of forklift experience is preferred.
• Must have experience in confined space entry.
• Previous mixing or compounding experience a plus.
