Summit Technology Services has a long-term contract for a Production Operator in Skaneateles, NY.

This role involves a combination of Assembly (90%) and Material Handling (10%).

Responsibilities:

1. Assemble small component parts or sub-assemblies using basic tools such as screwdrivers, clamps, exacto-knives, Allen wrenches, tweezers, wire cutters, or cotton swabs.
2. Work with a microscope or magnifying equipment for intricate sub-assemblies.
3. Learn and perform soldering; soldering skills are required.
4. Maintain good manual dexterity and eyesight. Ability to read, write, and perform basic math. Maintain high accuracy in repetitive tasks and work with basic chemicals.
5. Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
6. Follow instructions and uphold quality and safety standards.

Basic background check and 10-panel urinalysis required.

Duration: 1 year with high potential to convert to FTE.

Shift hours: 7AM-3:30PM; overtime may be required based on business needs.
