An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for following strict safety protocols while manufacturing chemical intermediates and finished products. Your duties will include operating machinery, maintaining a clean work environment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Production Operator follows established procedures to manufacture chemical intermediates and finished products. The Operator follows procedures that are set forth in the form of batch records and work instructions. This person completes a variety of duties: in addition to operating chemical processes, the employee may perform setup, cleaning of equipment, waste disposal, emergency response, warehouse activities, maintenance, and clean-up activities needed to facilitate general operations and regulatory compliance.
Operators are given extensive safety and Operator-specific training before they are assigned process work. After the initial training period, Production employees work 12-hour shifts with alternating days off, and rotate between night and day shifts every 12 weeks. Operators are paid a shift differential when working night shift. Operators are required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as per the shift schedule which is published in advance.

Working Conditions
The job requires frequent work outside in all weather for short periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally push, roll and/or move up to 100 pounds. The employee will be working in areas that requires the use of PPE including a respirator.
