Job Title: Production Technician - Vaccine

Location: Swiftwater, PA

We deliver 4.3 billion healthcare solutions annually, thanks to our meticulous Manufacturing & Supply teams. As a Production Technician in our Filling team, you'll work inside the fill area, performing production tasks aligned with volume fluctuations and business needs.

We are a global healthcare company committed to fighting infectious diseases by delivering over 500 million vaccine doses yearly. Our teams explore new technologies to protect communities and make a real impact worldwide.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure staffing flexibility for production needs and maintain aseptic qualifications.
• Complete training for and perform connections and sampling of closed systems.
• Be trained for routine and non-routine interventions, escalating issues appropriately.
• Coordinate bulk product movement with managers.
• Test process-related filters and manage inventories, escalating missing items.
• Prepare areas for shift changes, ensuring continuous operation and aseptic conditions.
• Maintain qualification for utility sampling (WFI, Clean Steam, DI).
• Participate in production processes using systems like SAP, Labware, Trackwise, etc.
• Work with senior staff to resolve production issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Identify and address area irritants, using OMS tools as required.

Safety

• Follow safety procedures, participate in safety meetings, and report issues.
• Engage in safety walkthroughs and contribute ideas for improvement.

Delivery & Involvement

• Support production according to business needs, ensuring proper documentation and aseptic techniques.
• Assist with training, team meetings, and process improvements.

About You - Requirements

• Good mechanical and computer skills, detail-oriented, with troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience in cGMP or pharmaceuticals preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of relevant experience, or an associate’s degree with 6+ months, or a bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency in operations or product lines, with system knowledge (SAP, HMI, etc.) required.
