Position Details

Title: Manufacturing Operator

Location: Quakertown, PA

Hours: Mon-Thursday (Four 10-hour days) 5:00pm to 3:00am; some weeks may be three 12-hour days 5:00pm to 5:00am.

Employment Type: Contract to hire

Summary

The Manufacturing Operator plays a key role in delivering quality service to our customers. Responsibilities include setting up, cleaning, operating, and maintaining equipment, following cGMP procedures, and documenting actions accurately and promptly.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operate processing systems according to the Customer Standard Batch Procedure (CSBP); report conflicts or issues to management.
2. Monitor and maintain equipment and processing environments, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
4. Perform equipment cleaning and inspection activities as instructed.
5. Label finished products and samples accurately.
6. Record data on forms for equipment inspections, production, and environmental conditions.
7. Inspect raw materials and record necessary information before processing.
8. Assist in the storage and handling of finished products.
9. Support other activities to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Physical Demands

• Repetitive overhead arm motions and force exertion up to 75 lbs continuously.
• Occasional exertion of more than 100 lbs force; frequent exertion of more than 50 lbs; constant exertion of more than 20 lbs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: 2+ years manufacturing experience, FDA and GMP familiarity, forklift experience.
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong team orientation and commitment to quality and safety.
