Job summary

USG is seeking personnel for a night shift role (6pm–6am) in Shoals, Indiana. Starting hourly pay is $23 with potential to reach $27.30 based on experience. Responsibilities include operating production equipment, recording data, and adhering to safety standards to ensure product quality.

The position requires basic computer skills, the ability to read instructions, and teamwork to support plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

  • Able to work safely in a manufacturing setting and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules.
  • Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment.
  • Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions.
  • Ability to apply basic computer skills required for data entry and reporting.
  • Proficiency at taking measurements to verify product is within specifications.
  • Familiarity with common hand tools (hammer, wrench, screwdrivers, pliers, putty knife).
  • Effective teamwork and communication with co-workers.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

Job description

Night shift, 6pm - 6am

Starting hourly payrate $23.00 per hour.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all safety/housekeeping requirements within a manufacturing setting.
  • Responsible for operating production equipment, including troubleshooting and making the necessary adjustments to ensure product and quality specifications are met.
  • Recording of production data and other results in the manner required.
  • Apply basic maintenance skills to help service equipment.
  • Expected to take an active role in all plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as required by supervision.
  • Adaptable to scheduling requirements including shiftwork, assignment of overtime, working weekends, etc. where applicable.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
