Job summary

USG in Bridgeport, CT is seeking a Warehouse/Shipping Associate to operate a forklift, load and unload materials, and pull orders from the production line with accuracy.

You will record shipping data, assist with basic equipment maintenance, participate in safety initiatives, and adapt to shift schedules including overtime and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to safely operate a forklift in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to inspect and troubleshoot forklift issues to maximize availability.
• Interpret verbal instructions and written customer orders.
• Apply basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• Proficient at recording shipping data accurately.
• Possess basic maintenance skills to service equipment.
• Effective teamwork and communication with co-workers.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Hourly pay: $22.38

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
