Job summary

USG is seeking personnel to operate and monitor production equipment in a manufacturing setting in Oakfield, NY. The role includes troubleshooting, data recording, and basic maintenance to ensure product and quality specifications are met.

Rotating 12-hour shifts (7am–7pm and 7pm–7am), four days on and two days off, with overtime and weekend work as needed. Competitive hourly pay and extensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

  • Able to work in a manufacturing setting in a safe manner and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules.
  • Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment.
  • Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions.
  • Ability to apply basic computer skills required for data entry and reporting.
  • Proficiency at taking measurements as needed to verify product is within specifications.
  • Possess basic maintenance skills, including familiarity with common hand tools and how to properly use them (Hammer, wrench, screwdrivers, pliers, putty knife, etc.).
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills needed with all co-workers.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Staring Hourly Payrate $24.90 per hour

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
