Job summary

USG is seeking an entry to mid-level plant worker to operate production equipment in a day-shift role. You will be responsible for recording production data and quality results with attention to detail, while adhering to safety and housekeeping rules in a manufacturing environment.

You will troubleshoot basic equipment and assist with inventories, with overtime and weekend shifts as required. USG offers comprehensive benefits and long-standing industry presence.

  • Able to work in a manufacturing environment in a safe manner and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules.
  • Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment.
  • Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions.
  • Ability to apply basic computer skills required for dats entry and production reporting.
  • Proficiency at taking measurements needed to ensure product meets specifications.
  • Possess basic maintenance skills including the use of basic hand tools.
  • Effective and positive teamwork and communication skills needed with all co-workers.
  • Ability to take direct instructions from supervisor.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Additional Information
  • Shift: Days - Current regular schedule is Monday – Thursday 5:30 am – 4:00 pm, plus occasional required overtime.

Hourly Pay: $26.70

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
