Job summary

Rheinmetall in Ohio is seeking capable Operators to join our manufacturing team. The role involves loading and unloading materials, inspecting parts for defects, operating assigned equipment, and upholding safety and quality standards.

You will work with multiple operator roles such as Ag Cell Operator, Desma Operator, and Press Room Operator, contributing to efficient production while following AS9100/IS14001 procedures and PPE guidelines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 1–3 months related experience or training.
  • Ability to apply common sense and follow written or verbal instructions.
  • Adherence to quality, environmental, and safety policies (AS9100, IS14001).
  • Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucks.
  • Conduct visual examination of products for defects and take corrective action.
  • Operate the instructed machines and report issues through proper channels.
  • Maintain cleanliness of internal and external property.

Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Loads and unloads materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucks.
  • Conducts visual examination of products, components and subassemblies for various processing defects such as blemishes and missed operations and takes corrective action.
  • Operate the machines that you are instructed to and report any problems or issues immediately to your Value Stream Manager or Supervisor using the proper channels and professional methods of communication.
  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness for internal property within the shop/office and external outside property.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
