Job summary

Ionbond – IHI Group is seeking a Production Operator in Rockaway, NJ to support advanced surface coatings for medical and industrial manufacturing. This on-site role involves processing, inspection, and assisting machine operators to meet customer specifications. You must read English instructions and handle parts with care.

Schedule is 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Requires 2+ years in manufacturing; mechanical/electrical troubleshooting is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in Manufacturing or related field.
• Mechanical, Electrical + Troubleshooting experience a plus!
• Familiarity with manufacturing tools and machine operation/equipment.
• Able to read instructions in English and read documents as small as 8-font size.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned functions, processes, and procedures that meet customer orders specifications, quality requirements, and production standards
• Assigned functions may include blasting, cleaning, stripping, fixturing, inspecting, and assisting machine operators and other departments as needed
• Load and unload customer products into machines (if assigned) while handling parts with care
• De‑fixture batch loads after processing
• Carry out basic visual inspection on parts after processing
• Other Duties as assigned

What do we ask?

Previous experience in Manufacturing or other related field. (2+ years preferred.) Mechanical, Electrical + Troubleshooting experience a plus! Familiarity with manufacturing tools and machine operation/equipment. Strong critical thinking skills. Ability to communicate effectively. Able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Good dexterity skills, able to handle precision machined parts. Able to read instructions in English and read documents as small as 8‑font size. This is a full‑time, on‑site position, scheduled Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The pay range for this role is $20–$24 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications while offering a 5% shift premium. Able to sit/stand during an 8‑hour shift. Must be authorized to work in the US. *Applicants may start on contingent basis through staffing service. Full‑Time, Regular hire date to be determined 90-180 days, based on production and performance.
