Job summary

Ionbond is hiring a Production Operator in Rockaway, NJ. This on-site, full-time position supports advanced surface coatings production. You will load/unload parts, de-fixture batches, inspect parts, and assist machine operators while following strict quality and process standards.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, and the ability to read English instructions. Shift is 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, with a $20–$24/hour pay range and a 5% shift premium.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Manufacturing or related field.
• Mechanical, Electrical + Troubleshooting experience a plus.
• Familiarity with manufacturing tools and machine operation/equipment.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Able to read instructions in English and read documents as small as 8-font size.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload customer products into machines.
• De-fixture batch loads after processing.
• Carry out basic visual inspection on parts after processing.
• Assist machine operators and other departments as needed.
• Perform assigned functions, processes, and procedures meeting customer orders specifications, quality requirements, and production standards.

(2+ years preferred.) Mechanical, Electrical + Troubleshooting experience a plus! Familiarity with manufacturing tools and machine operation/equipment. Strong critical thinking skills. Ability to communicate effectively. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Good dexterity skills, able to handle precision machined parts. Able to read instructions in English and read documents as small as 8-font size. This is a full‑time, on‑site position, scheduled Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The pay range for this role is $20–$24 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications while offering a 5% shift premium. Able to sit/stand during an 8-hour shift. Must be authorized to work in the US. *Applicants may start on contingent basis through staffing service.
