Job summary

Aurora Technologies, Inc. is seeking CNC Operators for the Spartanburg, SC facility. Positions include 1st shift (7:00am–3:30pm) and 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:30pm), Monday to Friday.

Starting pay is commensurate with experience, with a $500 sign-on bonus available. Responsibilities include setting up CNC machines, maintaining safety and quality standards, and supporting lean initiatives. Candidates should have basic computer skills, read tape measures, and be capable of lifting 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Detail oriented with high standards.
• Some experience in manufacturing.
• CNC machining experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to translate mechanical drawings and blueprints is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs.
• Ensure CNC machines operate per company guidelines.
• Oversee machines and adjust to improve results.
• Check machinery daily to guarantee functionality.
• Report issues to Production Supervisor.

We are seeking CNC Operators to fulfill the following roles in the machine shop at our ATI South location in Spartanburg, South Carolina:

• 1st Shift, CNC Operator - 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday
• 2nd Shift, CNC Operator - 3:00pm - 11:30pm, Monday - Friday

Starting pay rate is commensurate with experience.

Job Description:

• Understand quality and production within company specifications, goals, and objectives.
• Comply with all safety and environmental rules and regulations; comply with internal company practices.
• Support all 6S and lean initiatives.
• Report any issues to the Production Supervisor.
• Maintain proper training, tools, and materials to carry out his/her duties.
• Set up and manage CNC Machines to perform different jobs
• Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company
• Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results
• Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality

QualificationsRequired Knowledge and Skills:

• Must possess basic computer skills
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Must be detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards
• Some experience in manufacturing
• Experience with CNC machining is preferred but not required.
• Ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings, such as blueprints is preferred

• Ability to stand and walk for up to eight hours
