Job summary

ASC Engineered Solutions, LLC is seeking a CNC Operator for our Columbia, PA plant. You will work in the machine shop performing CNC operations on threaded pipe fittings and ensuring safe, quality production.

The role requires ability to load parts, run mills and lathes, perform quality inspections, document results, and follow safety procedures, with weekend/overtime potential and on-site benefits.

Responsibilities

• Load parts safely, start machine cycle, and remove parts when complete; perform visual quality inspections and report issues.
• Operate all CNC equipment (mills and lathes).
• Complete necessary product quality inspections and documentation.
• Place completed parts in the appropriate container.
• Learn to report daily production in M3.
• Train in the use of precise measuring equipment and quality inspection.
• Understand product identification and quality standards.

Department: Manufacturing & Distribution - Skilled Jobs

Reporting To: Chuck Moore

Compensation: $23.50 - $40.00 / hour

Description

As a CNC Operator at ASC, you will work in the Machine shop and have the opportunity to perform all CNC operations pertaining to the machining of threaded pipe fittings and to ensure the safety of all functions.

How You Will Help

• Operator trained to load a part safely, start the machine cycle and remove the part when completed. Perform a visual quality inspection of the part. Notify the supervisor or lead of any issues


• Operate all CNC Equipment (mills/lathes)


• Complete necessary product quality inspections and documentation


• Place completed parts in the appropriate container


• How to use the Emergency-stop in the event of a machine malfunction or unusual noise


• Must maintain quality & productivity objectives in single and multiple equipment operation


• Capable of learning how to report daily production in M3


• Must be trainable in the use of precise measuring equipment & quality inspection.


• Must be able to comprehend product identification and quality standards

Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned. Employee must be able to obtain a tow motor license and successfully pass LOTO and confined space training.
