Job summary

Aurora Technologies, Inc. in El Paso, TX is seeking a full-time CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. You will set up and manage CNC machines, ensuring adherence to company specifications and safety standards, while supporting lean initiatives.

Requires basic math, tape measure reading, teamwork, and strong attention to detail. We offer a $500 sign-on bonus, benefits including 401(k), health/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, PTO, and a referral program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math and ability to read a tape measure.
• Teamwork and good computer skills.
• Some experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with CNC machining is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and translate mechanical drawings and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Understand quality and production within company specifications, goals, and objectives
• Comply with all safety and environmental rules and regulations; comply with internal company practices
• Support all 6S and lean initiatives
• Report any issues to the Production Supervisor
• Maintain proper training, tools, and materials to carry out his/her duties
• Set up and manage CNC Machines to perform different jobs
• Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company
• Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results
• Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality

Qualifications: Required Knowledge and Skills

• Have an understanding of how to work with a team
• Must possess basic computer operation skills
• Ability to complete basic math and read a tape measure
• Some experience in manufacturing
• Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Good computer skills
• Great attention to detail
• Experience with CNC Machining not required but preferred
• Ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings, such as blueprints is preferred

• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
