Position Overview

Production Operator

This position is responsible for the daily operations of the production floor, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met in compliance with all legal and food safety standards.

Essential Functions

1. Manage daily activities of the production line(s), ensuring safety, quality, and throughput standards.
2. Complete quality and production reports hourly; perform visual inspections to prevent non-conforming goods and report defects.
3. Follow safety programs, guidelines, and regulations diligently.
4. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards at all times.
5. Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in all production areas.
6. Manage raw materials to minimize downtime.
7. Work across all production areas, troubleshoot minor issues, and perform relief duties as needed.
8. Maintain regular attendance.
9. Work 12-hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating schedule as per production needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED, no prior experience required.
• Preferred: 2 years in manufacturing, managing people/projects, or similar roles.
