PeopleReady in Milton, FL is hiring a Production Operator to guide spooled cable onto reels. Training provided to ensure cable quality for customer delivery. Pay ranges from $15 to $18 per hour with multiple shifts and opportunities via the JobStack app.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Take-Up machine and spool cable onto reels.
• Set up the Take-Up machine independently and monitor production.
• Maintain production and quality logs per company systems.
• Repair discrepancies on the line while spooling onto the reel.
• Follow safety procedures and material handling rules.
• Report quality issues to supervisor or lead promptly.
• Load and unload finished goods in designated areas.
• Assist with any other duties as assigned.

PeopleReady of Fort Walton Beach, FL is now hiring Production Operators in Milton, FL! The primary focus of this position is to guide the spooled cable onto a reel. This position will have on the job training as an essential process to ensure the quality of the cable for the delivery to our customers

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $15 - $18 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Production Operator:

• Operator will operate the Take-Up machine in a Cable Manufacturing facility

• Properly set-up the Take-Up machine independently and monitor the product consistently, as it is being spooled onto the reel

• Properly maintain a consistent log of production and quality, per Company systems

• Properly repair any discrepancies within the line while spooling onto the reel

• Ensure all safety procedures and rules including safe material handling are followed

• Immediately report quality issues to the Supervisor, Department Manager or Lead

• Properly load and unload finished goods in designated areas

• Assist with any other job duties that are assigned

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 3rd Shift (Night), Weekends

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

• Must have good mechanical skills with the ability to handle and move heavy reels and products to designated areas

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
