Job summary

PeopleReady is hiring Forklift Operators in Milton, FL. You will move pallets and containers in a warehouse setting, loading and unloading trucks and helping prepare orders for shipment.

Job duties include stacking pallets, moving goods to storage bays, and possibly using RF scanners to track inventory. Valid forklift license or driver’s license may be required for some assignments; background checks and drug testing are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in warehouse settings is preferred.
• Ability to operate forklift and/or pallet jack is required.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and bending/raising arms repeatedly.
• Some assignments may require a valid driver’s license or forklift license.
• Site Logistics Forklift position requires experience operating a LULL (Telehandler) and 10,000 lbs capacity.
• Background check and drug test are required.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18 - $20 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Forklift Operator :

• Load and unload goods from trucks

• May also pick, wrap, and prepare orders to be shipped

• Move product to correct storage bays and follow inventory control instructions

• Stack empty pallets

• May use RF scanning equipment to track inventory

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), Weekends

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Experience in warehouse settings is preferred

• Ability to operate forklift and/or pallet jack required

• Able to repeatedly lift to 50lbs, and able to continually bend, twist, and raise arms above head

• Some assignments may require a valid driver's license or forklift license

• For the Site Logistics Forklift position, candidates must have experience operating a LULL (Telehandler) and have a minimum of 10,000 lbs

• Background check and drug test required
