Job summary

PeopleReady in Milton, FL is hiring a Production Operator to guide spooled cable onto reels. Training provided to ensure cable quality for customer delivery. Pay ranges from $15 to $18 per hour with multiple shifts and opportunities via the JobStack app.

Responsibilities include operating the Take-Up machine, setting up and monitoring production, and maintaining logs. Applicants must be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and pass a background check and drug test.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Good mechanical skills and ability to move heavy reels.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Take-Up machine and spool cable onto reels.
• Set up the Take-Up machine independently and monitor production.
• Maintain production and quality logs per company systems.
• Repair discrepancies on the line while spooling onto the reel.
• Follow safety procedures and material handling rules.
• Report quality issues to supervisor or lead promptly.
• Load and unload finished goods in designated areas.
• Assist with any other duties as assigned.
