Summary

The Production Operator is responsible to safely operate and monitor machinery, ensure quality control, and maintain machinery.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Operate and make appropriate adjustments to ensure productivity and quality standards.
  • Gather information regarding equipment, quality (etc.) with incoming and outgoing operation (change of shifts) entering information into log book. Perform set out on an hourly basis to review current quality levels (gages), weight, etc. and document information as required.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform basic maintenance tasks.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Identify quality problems, take set outs as scheduled.
  • Complete visual management board and other related tasks.
  • Maintain housekeeping and a safe work area. Communicate problem issues to the chief operator
