Crandall Corporation:

Crandall Corporation provides residuals management for industrial and automotive facilities. We collect and manage non-hazardous wastes such as scrap tires, used oil and oil filters, scrap metal, etc.

Job Purpose:

The production operator supports operations by handling inbound and outbound materials. Responsibilities include drum handling, loading/unloading tanker trucks, and loading/unloading box trucks with drums, pallets, boxes, pails, used tires, and other materials. The operator must maintain equipment in good condition and provide quality service to clients, supporting the company’s operations department.

Duties and Responsibilities

Service:

• Unload drums, boxes, and materials arriving at the terminal
• Load/unload tanker trucks
• Load box trucks with products and materials for customer service
• Operate as a kid steer
• Operate an industrial lift truck
• Operate commercial vehicles on company property
• Work safely and efficiently
• Maintain tools and equipment in good order
• Complete all required paperwork
• Notify supervisor of repairs or maintenance needs
• Report incidents immediately to the supervisor
• Manage materials according to federal and state regulations

Paperwork/Administrative:

• Complete daily operational logs
• Inspect inbound/outbound manifests and paperwork
• Complete bills of lading and manifests
• Fill out company paperwork, including service orders, worksheets, and time logs
• Maintain paperwork accurately and thoroughly
• Communicate with dispatch and operations supervisor

Operations:

• Assist with loading/unloading service vehicles
• Support operations as needed
• Perform other tasks as assigned, including occasional work in operations and assisting drivers
• Occasional overnight travel

Qualifications:

Working Conditions:

This role involves outdoor environments, automotive service and repair shops, and industrial facilities. Conditions may include cold, warm, humid, and dusty environments. The position requires heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling, as well as operating industrial lift trucks and skid steers.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand for extended periods
• Perform periodic heavy lifting and pushing/pulling
• Lift 75 pounds or more
