Job Description

Currently seeking a Production Operator for a full-time temporary to permanent position in Middleboro, MA.

Responsibilities of Production Operator:

1. Set-up and operate manufacturing machines including brushing, lapping, rolling, drilling, and grinding machines.
2. Monitor machines, make adjustments, and start/stop machines as needed.
3. Maintain fluid and lubricant levels.
4. Perform and submit in-process inspections.
5. Utilize measuring tools and gauges during quality checks to ensure specifications are met.
6. Remove scrap metal from machines.
7. Report any equipment or tooling failures.
8. Maintain daily logs, documentation, and inspection reports.
9. Work in a cleanroom environment when required.
10. Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Requirements of Production Operator:

1. Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. 3+ years of machine operation experience.
3. Experience using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers, able to read fine graduations.
4. Mechanically inclined.
5. Experience with gauge blocks and laser ZYGO equipment.
6. Able to lift and carry 40 lbs regularly.
7. Superior attention to detail.
8. Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
9. Ability to read blueprints.

Hours: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: $19.00/hr
